Modern Luxury

Modern Luxury is the nation’s largest luxury media company. With over 85 publication titles, Modern Luxury extends to a wide audience of 16 million. Chicago, Illinois is home to the company’s Editorial Design Department and is where most Modern Luxury magazines come to life.

I worked in Chicago alongside Art Directors and Senior Editorial Designers to assist in the production of five different magazine titles.

Editorial Design

During the summer of 2019, I was integrated into Modern Luxury’s publication production workflow by preparing art for print and conducting pre-production design checks. In addition, I developed a thorough understanding of various publication style guides that I used to design over 30 published pages for Interiors Boston, Los Angeles Confidential, Miami, and Houston. I worked on one published illustration for Hamptons and redesigned pages for San Francisco Magazine, Modern Luxury Weddings California, and Aspen Peak.
